The chosen charity this year was the local COUNTESS MOUNTBATTEN HOSPICE (now rebranded as Mountbatten Hampshire – go to their website here for information about their wonderful work click here)
Obviously, this event had to be cancelled, but SUBB are proposing to put on an ONLINE “AS LIVE” EVENT on that day, with options to “Subscribe” and to “Donate” to view or download it…
Introduced and compered by the inimitable Pat Peiro, it will feature live performance footage of SUBB from past Rotary Club events, more live-recorded tunes from “SUBB-in-Lockdown”, video messages from representatives of the SW Rotary Club and Mountbatten Hampshire hospice, and a few surprise items and special guests!
We hope that all you dancers out there will clear the lounge, tune in to the show and jive, lindy-hop and swing along! (NB Any videos of you all enjoying the performance will be gratefully received and edited)
