The objective is to improve and enhance players understanding &amp; appreciation of &#8211; as well as their technical performance skills in playing &#8211; big band music. This is achieved through regular (weekly) rehearsals, workshops &amp; \u201cmasterclasses\u201d as well as live public performances. (Performances range from concerts, charitable events, carnivals, fetes and other outdoor and indoor events, all of which are usually open to the public. <strong>SU2<\/strong> also perform for private functions.)<\/p>\n<p>Musicians within <strong>SU2<\/strong> range from adults that have not played for some time following their early music education to the younger generation wishing to gain additional experience alongside their current music education.
